When Munich Creative Business Week (MCBW) 2015 takes place from February 21 to March 1, Denmark is exclusively selected as partner country. The exhibition ’A kind of blue’ on Danish design plays a central role in the initiative, and the Danish Trade Council in Munich invites Danish design companies to take part.
The Danish initiative is a four-day event on February 24-27 where the industrial turbine hall Freiheiz is turned into ‘Danish Design House Munich’ with products and presentations from about 25 leading Danish design companies, design talks and entertainment. The fact that Denmark is a partner country means extraordinary focus on Danish design and Danish Design House throughout MCBW.
Munich Creative Business Week is the largest international design event in Germany for international designers, architects, creative entrepreneurs, business professionals, industry representatives and anyone with a general interest in design. In 2014 MCBW had more than 45,000 visitors and 150 events. MCBW focuses on sustainability in the design and future design solutions, society, culture and economy are combined and the overall theme is the 2015 Metropolitan Ideas.
