Mads Tolsgaard is a project assistant at the Danish Design Centre, where he contributes to many different projects dealing with qualitative research and cultural analyses.

Mads has a degree in advertising from KEA, Copenhagen School of Design and Technology, and is studying towards a bachelor’s degree in ethnology at the University of Copenhagen. One of his key professional interests is how insights from everyday life can co-create innovative and sustainable design solutions. More specifically, he used his methodological and analytical skills to understand design processes and why they lead to innovation.

Both in his studies and in his work at the DDC, Mads is focused on striking the balance between creativity and research.
