Peter Kamph is programme director with responsibility for the Danish Design Centre’s communication activities. He has worked professionally with strategic communication for 15 years, including as head of press for DR (Danish Broadcasting Corporation), head of communications and marketing at the IT University of Denmark and head of communications and fundraising for the Danish Refugee Council.
Peter is responsible for developing, heading and managing the DDC’s strategic communication efforts across platforms and activities, both externally, in relation to the DDC’s wide range of stakeholders, and internally within the organisation, where Peter provides advice about communication and is in charge of developing the DDC’s ongoing communication activities as an integrated part of all the DDC’s platforms, programmes and projects.
Peter has experience with both the agency and the client perspective from jobs for private companies and public institutions within public relations, public affairs, campaign strategy, strategic brand development and consumer sociology, research communication, journalism and communication consultancy. He holds an MA in media studies from the University of Copenhagen and has additional training in management and innovation as well as ten years’ managerial experience.
